Goffs School House was built in 1914 and served families in the Colorado River town until 1937. It was a survivor of old Route 66 in the remote desert community. Following years of neglect, the mission style architecture of this historic school has now been totally restored, thanks to the efforts of the Mojave Desert Heritage and Cultural Association. Today the former school serves as a museum and headquarters for the Association.
